Hello Everyone!
This is Cyber, I'll start as a writer in this blog from now on. You can find me on Stardoll as CyberEmpress. Halloween is the best time for me to start my corner, since it's my time of the year! I was even featured in the newsletter of stardoll last year, saying:
"Demonic Doll. We love this spooky look from CyberEmpress - perfect for a frightening fashionista!"
I can say this is my first achievement on Stardoll since there was only a walking lady and couple of dress-up games. The rest are one official blog feature and one spotlight feature. As you guess:
I know we all want to dress ourselves and our dolls the coolest but usually overhelmed by professionals, designers, magazines and celebrities. While nobody told us, it's still made of human capabilities...ugh maybe a batch of spider stew of Oogie Boogie Man included.
This year, I created several outfits for the spooky month although I bring halloween quite frequently. I love the haunted doll idea for halloween, although I severly suffer pediophobia in real life since I was little. I still feel scared when I see those vintage porcelain dolls. They always gave me those old dolls because they were supposedly be cool things to give to frilly dressed little girls. Antique + doll + expensive. Why not? I thought it was too weird and I always put them in cupboard or behind the curtains during night. I still remember them... But i think it's a cool idea for halloween.
I put up a haunted doll by a suffering spirit. This look kinda reflects my fears. I had a doll which had a peach dress and nude shoes. It was a plastic doll that could sing and walk. We were at the same height. The pearls are leftovers from christmas party last night which was also my birthday. Mom thought they were nice on the doll. The veils are the curtains I hit the doll's face with. The blue eyes that are still watching you sleep while your back is turned and you are trying to sleep...

I added stardesign
brows, but kind of unnecessary. Although I’m fan of non-brow horror makeup, I
wanted to add the expression.
This one is Annabelle from the movie Conjuring and spin-off "Annabelle". Its face looks really like one of the dolls I had. A girl asked me if I could put a makeup on her. She gave me this as reference;
It turned up pretty well for the first try even with not professional makeup tools. It's easier than it looks. Then I said, let's see what I can do with things in my virtual closet.

I'm an engineer, so I plan everything in a certain workflow
to the goal within possible timeline. Here are the steps:
- Find an object of desire. zombie? power ranger? titan? chtulhu? Or.. you even have an original character better than anything on the market? Go for it.
- Check your time limit and budget
- Raid your closet well. Take all of them down!
- Start with the outfits. Closet, plaza, bazaar, random vote loots, social media. But always keep the rules in mind
- Go to beauty parlor and see what do you have to create the look for makeup and jewelry. "Transform" is an amazing store, but not good for every budget. Shadesticks are really useful.
- Check your jewelry, to support the look.
- I know most of us never have the time or skill to create those gorgeous designs. But there are still small additions we can add from stardesign hair and jewelry! Try and try. Did you notice the clothes can't be removed on hair design since the last update?
This one here, I came up with the idea from an old friend of mine.
He probably disappeared into a black paradise a couple of years ago.
Pick any theme and enjoy your time of dressing up and showing off. I highly recommend "horror music box" kind of music for the background while working.
Boo~tiful week to you all~
